Distracted Driving
Insurance Bureau of Canada, www.ibc.ca, is the trade association for home, car and business insurance companies. The Insurance Bureau has recently launched public education campaign to remind drivers to keep their eyes on the road and avoid distractions while driving, such as “cellphones, PDAs, text messaging, eating and setting up the DVD player for the kids in the back seat.”
The Responsible Driver Code
Beginning drivers are advised to share ICBC’s booklet, Tuning Up for Drivers with their supervising driver. The hope is that the supervising driver will read it for coaching tips and improve their own driving skills while helping another person.

Impaired Driving Continues
Road Safety Vision 2010 aims to significantly reduce thenumber of motorists killed or seriously injured on Canada’s roads in the 2008 – 2010 period.
